Sports Tariff - Effective From 31st August 2019.  (last increase 1st Sep 2017) All prices per court/per hour and include VAT (where applicable)

Standard Price - charged for one-off bookings and block bookings where the requirements for the Reduced Block Booking Price are not met.

Reduced Block Booking Price - for block bookings where the customer meets HMRC?s VAT requirements for block bookings (let?s for a series of sessions).  If any of the following conditions are not met, the standard price must be charged:

1. The facilities are let out to a school, club, association or organisation representing affiliated clubs or constituent associations. 

2. The series consists of 10 or more sessions and each session is for the same sport or activity.

3. The interval between each session is at least 1 day but not more than 14 days. There is no exception for intervals greater than 14 days.

4. There is a written contractual agreement between Bentham Country Club and the customer (as evidenced by the customer signing the Booking Agreement Form) that all sessions will be paid for.  Payment can be made in instalments but as a minimum requirement must be made on the day of each session.  No refunds are permitted for any unused/unwanted sessions in the series.  A refund given by Bentham Country Club in the event of unforeseen non-availability (e.g. power loss) is permitted.

5. The customer has exclusive use of the facilities specified.

How To Make A Booking

·         One-off bookings up to and including 2 court hours total duration can be made by calling 01452 864157 Mon-Fri 12.30-6pm.  Availability will be checked and your booking will be confirmed.  A contact name and telephone number will be taken.  Payment can be made on the day but must be before the session commences.

·         For all other bookings please call 01452 864157 Mon-Fri 12.30-6pm to check availability and provisionally hold your booking.   One-off bookings that are more than 2 court hours in total duration or block bookings require a Booking Agreement Form to be completed and signed by a Named Contact.  These are available to download by clicking links below.  Upon return of the completed Booking Agreement Form (and deposit/payment where applicable) your booking will be confirmed.  One-off bookings that are more than 2 court hours in total duration require a 50% deposit payable at the time of making the booking.

Cancellations  - For ?standard price? bookings up to and including 2 court hours total duration, cancellation must be received by Bentham Country Club at least 48 hours prior to the booking date/time.

For ?standard price? bookings over 2 court hours total duration a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required at the time of making the booking.  If Bentham Country Club does not receive notice of cancellation at least 48 hours prior to the booking date/time the named contact will be invoiced the outstanding balance of the booking.

For bookings that qualify for the ?reduced block booking price? any cancellation of a session must still be paid for owing to HMRC?s VAT requirements for block bookings (let?s for a series of sessions) ? please see the requirements above.
